Bachelor fans may recall Genevie Mayo from Zach Shallcross’ season earlier in the year. She was the contestant who had viewers asking lots of questions when she rocked up on episodes of the show wearing a sling. The reality star is totally healed up now and ready to break some hearts on Bachelor In Paradise by the looks of things.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD…Genevie is reunited with some of her gal pals when she touches down on the Mexican shores of Bachelor In Paradise. Jess Girod is one of the first contestants to greet her which is super awkward given who Genevie chooses to go on a date with shortly after her arrival.

Genevie shakes up Bachelor In Paradise

ABC star Genevie may not have meant to cause total mayhem arriving in Paradise, but that she did.

The 27-year-old had chats with Tyler Norris and Blake Moynes when she touched down in Mexico.

She later opts for a proper date with Blake, Jess’ partner, and the two head off for a romantic time on a kayak together.

Genevie and Blake’s date ends in some kissing and Blake admits that Gen is “super inviting.”

Despite looking like they’re really into one another some fans aren’t convinced that Blake and Genevie have “chemistry.”

Chaos erupts in Blake’s absence

While Blake canoodles with Genevie in the ocean, back in Paradise, Tyler is cracking on with his partner, Jess.

Blake explains on his date that he has an “unsure feeling” when he’s with Jess. But, it doesn’t look like Tyler’s too unsure.

Tyler and Jess share a kiss after he admits he thinks she’s “gorgeous.”

To complicate things further, Tyler says that Mercedes Northup is “his girl,” but that he’d always had an interest in Jess.

Genevie and Blake don’t last

Although Genevie’s arrival in Paradise shook things up, Reality Steve comes through with the spoilers once again and reports Blake “self-eliminates” from the show.

He also writes that Tyler and Mercedes end the season “broken up.”

Judging by Jess’ Instagram post featuring a photo of herself and Rachel Recchia, she doesn’t end the show in love, either.

She replies: “Cheers sister,” to Davia Bunch’s comment on her post: “Girls rule boys drool.”
